4-star cliff-top hotel with championship golf and luxury spa in St Austell

Golf & Grounds

The hotel offers complimentary use of an 18-hole championship golf course set within 250 acres of landscaped grounds. A golf buggy provides direct access from the cliff-top to Carlyon Bay Beach, bypassing the coastal path steps. The grounds also include a pitch-and-putt course, tennis courts, and an informal snooker room for guest entertainment.

Spa & Wellness

The on-site spa is an AA Recommended Spa 2023/24, featuring an indoor swimming pool, spa bath, steam room, and heated loungers. Treatments use Elemis products and include massages, facials, body wraps, and manicures. Guests also have access to an outdoor heated pool with a pool bar, a sauna, and a fitness centre.

Dining

The Bay View restaurant holds an AA rosette and serves fresh seafood with fine vintage wines in a formal setting. For casual dining, Taste Brasserie offers locally sourced produce, and the Spa Bar provides light meals on the terrace. Breakfast is a buffet with hot options, fresh fruit, and a separate menu, with sea views from the dining room.

Family & Activities

Children under 15 have customized packages with a kids' club run by Adrianne and Lynne, including bushcraft and axe throwing. The hotel provides board games, outdoor play equipment, a heated children's pool, and evening entertainment such as live music and themed nights. Guests can borrow tennis equipment, use the putting green, or walk to Charlestown along the coastal path.

Location & Nearby

The hotel is 2 miles from the Eden Project and a 10-minute drive from the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
