Rural farm stay with six private caravans in Newport
Accommodation
Glebe Farm Holidays in Newport offers a spacious apartment and six static caravans set within a working farm. Each caravan includes a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. The property has family rooms, heating, and a garden with a terrace and barbecue for guest use.
The Farm
The site is surrounded by fields with horses, sheep, and ducks, and includes a children's play area with games. Guests have access to a facilities room in one of the barns with two washing machines, additional freezer space, an ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner. The farm has no Wi-Fi and limited mobile signal, which creates a digital detox experience.
Amenities
The property provides free on-site private parking with wheelbarrows available to move luggage from the car park to the caravans. Guests arrive to a welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar, and fresh milk. Central heating, gas fires, and powerful showers are in each caravan.
Children
The farm has a children's play area, and a travel cot with bedding can be provided on request. The rural setting allows children to see horses, sheep, and ducks from the caravans. The site's layout ensures caravans are spaced apart, giving families more privacy than large caravan parks.
Location
Glebe Farm Holidays is 8 km from Yarmouth Castle and 15 km from Blackgang Chine, with Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle within easy reach. The farm is on a bus route with stops just outside, and several local pubs serving food are minutes away. The location allows guests to reach most tourist spots on the Isle of Wight within 30 minutes.
