Self-contained farm lodge in quiet Ripon village with private garden
Accommodation
Grange Farm Lodge offers a one-bedroom apartment with a private garden and a separate kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle. The apartment has a walk-in shower and a seating area with a TV. The bedroom and kitchen are separated by a large window without a blind, so guests should note the lack of privacy between these areas.
Amenities
The lodge provides free on-site private parking in a parking garage, with key access for security. The property is entirely non-smoking and includes heating throughout. Guests have access to a private back garden equipped with sun loungers.
Location
The lodge is 13 km from Lightwater Valley Theme Park and 8 km from Ripon Cathedral, with Ripley Castle and Fountains Abbey also nearby. Leeds Bradford International Airport is 44 km away. The surrounding village has no shops, but a country pub serving freshly cooked Thai food is within a 2-minute walk.
Guest Satisfaction
The property has received guest ratings of 9 and 10 out of 10 for its convenient location and quietness. One couple described the accommodation as "very clean" and "comfortable" with a "super comfortable bed". Another solo traveller noted the peaceful dark surroundings and safe parking.
Dining Options
A country pub located around the corner serves Thai cuisine, offering an alternative to self-catering.
