Sea-View Guest House Steps from Porthmeor Beach in St Ives
Sea-View Room
The Twin Room with Sea View at Grey Mullet Guest House has a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, a hairdryer, and linen. This top-floor room sits in the attic with a view toward the bay. The room includes a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, a wardrobe, and heating.
Location
Grey Mullet Guest House occupies an old cottage on Fore Street, in the middle of St Ives. Porthmeor Beach is a few steps away, and Tate St Ives is a 2-minute walk from the guest house. The South West Coast Path runs practically past the property, and Simply St Ives is 700 metres away.
Local Attractions
Guests can walk to Leach Pottery in 19 minutes. Carbis Bay is 3.8 km away, St Michael's Mount is 14 km away, and St Erth is 8 km away. Land's End Airport is 27 km from the property.
Owner and Guest Services
Owner Ken is reachable and gives local advice, including dinner and breakfast recommendations in St Ives. When guests cannot find parking, he has met them and taken their bags so they could continue parking. He has also carried luggage up to the top floor for guests whose bags arrived while they were out.
Practical Notes
The room door locks automatically behind guests, so the key stays with guests when they go out. The guest house has no on-site parking; St Ives street parking is sparse and spaces are hard to find. Fore Street is a busy road, and windows facing that side can pick up street noise.
