Hartwell House sits within 90 acres of landscaped parkland. The grounds include a bridged lake, a folly bridge, and an orchard of mature trees. Electric vehicle charging stations are available for guests arriving by car.
Rooms & Amenities
Each room has a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a CD player. Rooms in the Coach House offer direct access to the spa. Soundproof rooms and facilities for disabled guests are provided, including emergency cords in bathrooms and toilets with grab rails.
Dining
The on-site restaurant is award-winning and serves dinner with wine from an extensive wine cellar. Afternoon tea is served in the Library, where the meteorological society was founded in 1850. Special diet menus are available upon request.
