Hatters Meadows Glamping in Ely, England

Hatters Meadows has three Timber Tents: Magog, Little Trees, and Wandlebury, plus the Cabin of Hearts. Magog sleeps up to 4 people with one double bed and two single beds, while Little Trees offers a couples or family configuration with one double and two single beds. The Cabin of Hearts has a king-size bed, a log burner with wood supplied, and includes all bedding, cutlery, plates, cups, table, chairs, small stove, small fridge, saucepans, outdoor bean bag, BBQ, fire pit, and a welcome pack of ground coffee, fair-trade tea, and milk.

The site has eight dedicated recycling bins for materials such as plastics, glass, compost, and crisp packets, and is a single-use plastic free campsite. Every pitch, including the wild camping pitches, comes with its own fire pit and views of Ely Cathedral. Guests have access to large shower rooms, a cosy reception, and washing up sinks, with wheelbarrows available to transport belongings.

The site is a short walk or cycle from Ely, home to the 900-year-old Ely Cathedral. Guests can follow trails along the River Great Ouse, visit the Ely Museum, or take a boat trip on the Ely Liberty Belle River Cruises. Cycle routes include the Kings Forest Cycle Route and the Millers Trail, and nearby attractions include Hannam's Wake Club for wakeboarding and Cambridge Aqua Park.

Fresh breakfast hampers are available to order, containing a selection of produce for a family of four. On Fridays and Saturdays, homemade pizzas can be pre-ordered from the site. Optional extras include in-tent massage, a professional glitter face painter, and gin tasting parties for adult celebrations.

Up to two pets per pitch are allowed, with pet bowls and pet baskets available on request. The site offers children's parties with themed activities and a Mad Hatters tea party, plus a meadow for games and exploration. Nearby child-friendly activities include Ely Treasure Trails, Jumpin Jacks Funhouse indoor play, and Treetops Soft Play.
