Historic Property & Grounds
The property is set within a unique historic building dating back to around 1850, originally a windmill with stables and an engine house added later for power. In the 1960s, the buildings were converted into five separate apartments, retaining original character and quirky architectural features throughout. The grounds include a mini golf course and a golf course, as well as a garden with seating areas and a small family play area with a swing and tree swing.
Cottages & Private Outdoor Areas
Each of the five cottages has its own distinct personality and enclosed outdoor space. Coach is a two-bedroom cottage with a courtyard, Stable has two bedrooms and an enclosed garden, and Garden is a two-bedroom single-storey retreat with its own enclosed outdoor area. Mill Top is a first-floor one-bedroom apartment with an external staircase and elevated position, while Millstone is a ground-floor apartment with access to an enclosed garden.
Dog-Friendly Amenities
Dogs stay for free at Hunston Mill Cottages, and the property features a dedicated dog paddock that is fully enclosed with shade and chairs for owners.
