Historic Working Farm B&B in York with Farm Animals and Garden Views
Historic Working Farm
Oscar Park Farm is a historic working farm B&B in York where guests wake up to horses, sheep, cows, and pigs. The property has a garden, sun umbrellas, and free parking, with CCTV outside for security. Hosts Ann and George run the farm, and the garden is open for guests to use.
Rooms
The Double Room with Garden View has a private bathroom, a fireplace, and a view over the garden. The bathroom offers both a bath and a separate shower, and the room includes a terrace. A mini fridge and milk in an insulated bottle add extra convenience.
Breakfast
The cooked breakfast is a guest favorite and includes a selection, coffee, and juice, with black pudding singled out by one guest as the best in the UK. Packed lunches are available for guests heading out for the day, and lighter options such as fruit and yoghurt are on offer. Guests leaving early can ask for uncooked breakfast items provided by the hosts.

Helmsley Castle is 6 km away, Rievaulx Abbey is 3.5 km away, and Rievaulx Terrace National Trust is 2.8 km away, with Teesside International Airport 46 km from the property. Guests can also go cycling and use the sun umbrellas in the garden, while sightings of pheasants, deer, hares, red legged partridge, and little owls have been reported on the track to the farm.

Guests rate the breakfast, the friendly host, and the convenient location highly. Free parking is available, CCTV is located outside the property, and the property has non-smoking rooms with heating.
