The Crown Inn offers a seasonal à la carte menu made with local ingredients in its oak-panelled restaurant. The bar serves a selection of local ales and an expertly chosen wine list that complements each dish. Private dining options are available for special occasions, and themed dinner nights take place throughout the year.
Rooms
Each room has handmade beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen and en suite bathrooms with Noble Isle toiletries. Several rooms contain four-poster beds and original wooden beams that date from the 14th century. Flat-screen TVs and DVD players are provided in all rooms.
Location
The inn sits on the village green directly opposite St Mary's church and the duck pond in Chiddingfold. Petworth House and Park, Arundel Castle, and the South Downs National Park are all within a short drive. Guildford town centre is 20 minutes away, and central London can be reached in under an hour.
