Secluded 16th-century farmhouse under Skiddaw with mountain, lake and sea views
The Property
The Dash Farmhouse in Bassenthwaite is a 16th-century farmhouse on the northern side of Skiddaw, the only house in the valley. Part of the building dates from 1500 AD, and the farmhouse has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. Free on-site private parking, accessible parking, a garden, and a terrace with sea, lake, and mountain views are available.

The Dash Farmhouse's three bedrooms and two bathrooms include a downstairs shower room and an enormous bath. Underfloor heating runs through the dining area, and the kitchen includes a large fridge and freezer. Family rooms, a washing machine, a dryer, and board games and puzzles are available.
