Dining
The restaurant serves home-cooked meals that change regularly to reflect the best seasonal produce available locally. Daily specials include fresh fish, and the menu offers extensive vegetarian options and special diet menus. Two bars feature cozy open fires and local craft beers, with a selection of wines and champagne.
Rooms
The 7 large en-suite rooms are tastefully furnished, with most recently refurbished including new bathrooms. All but one room looks out over the beautiful surrounding countryside, and some rooms face the church opposite. Rooms include TVs, towels, complimentary toiletries, and extras like towelling robes in selected rooms.
Entertainment & Activities
The inn hosts live music regularly in the bar area and in the functions room, including Open Mic events. Darts is available, and board games and puzzles are provided in rooms for guest use. The inn also holds engaging local community events, such as the Chagford film festival events.
