The New Inn is a short walk from all of the town's shops and less than 650 metres from Sandwich Rail Station. Free on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with staff directing guests to the nearest car park if spaces are full. The hotel is 12 miles from the port of Dover and 18 miles from Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel.

Home-cooked food is served daily from 07:00 to 19:30 in the traditional bar, with a children's menu and high chairs available for families.
