The Seven Stars serves moules frites with a white wine and cream sauce, a Star burger, and a Sunday lunch with three slices of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Local ales such as Jail Ale and Fraid Knot ale are kept well. Staff member Will creates a cocktail of the day for guests.

The inn offers standard double rooms, standard twin rooms, king rooms, and superior king rooms. All rooms include Mason & Miller toiletries and a refrigerator. Rooms are located up narrow stairs on the third or fourth floor without a lift.

The inn is located 2.6 km from Compass Cove Beach and 6 km from Dartmouth Castle. It is a one-minute walk from the waterfront and the ferry to Kingswear. Parking is available at a nearby car park for a fee, with free overnight street parking on the quayside out of summer season.
