The Stables At The Grange is a recently renovated historic building offering spacious double rooms with parquet floors and inner courtyard views. Each room has a private entrance, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave and toaster. The bedroom includes a dining area, seating space, blackout blinds, and access to streaming services via a smart TV.

The property provides full-day security with 24-hour surveillance and smoke alarms, a rare feature for a guest house of this size. The Stables At The Grange is located 8.4 km from York Minster and 9 km from both York Railway Station and the National Railway Museum. York Dungeon is also 9 km away, while Leeds Bradford International Airport is 51 km from the property. The guest house is a 15-minute drive from York city centre, with a village pub a one-minute walk away and a bus stop close by for the York Park & Ride service.

Pets are allowed on the premises, making the guest house suitable for travelers with dogs or other small animals. The secure private parking and gated entrance provide a safe environment for pets when arriving or leaving. Guests should note that the accommodation is described as dog-tolerant rather than fully dog-friendly, so pets are accepted but the space is not designed for extensive pet amenities.

The property underwent recent renovations that added modern amenities while preserving historical character, such as exposed beams and a Smeg kettle in the kitchenette. Guest ratings highlight exceptional comfort, with a 10/10 score for bed comfort, quality mattress and pillows, and a powerful rainfall shower. Each room also includes a cafetiere, Nutribullet, and fresh milk provided on arrival.
