Thistle London Heathrow Terminal 5 in Hillingdon, England

The hotel sits next to the Heathrow Pod network, a driverless rail system that transfers guests from the hotel to Terminal 5 in 5 minutes, operating from 04:00 to 00:15. On-site parking holds 450 cars, and guests can pre-book parking for the duration of their trip. A bus stop outside the hotel provides an alternative £1.75 ride to Terminal 5 via route 423.

The Aviator Sports Bar & Restaurant serves food and drinks with direct views of the runway, allowing guests to watch planes land while eating. Live sport events are shown on screens in the bar, and a terrace overlooking the runway is open in good weather. Guests can also use the shared lounge/TV area and the pool table in the bar.

The hotel has 266 en-suite rooms, including family rooms and deluxe king rooms, many with runway views. Rooms come with air conditioning, a fridge, and a desk; some have a bath. The hotel has no lift - upper-floor rooms are accessed by stairs, so ground-floor rooms should be requested for guests with heavy luggage.

Newly renovated event spaces with natural light and modern technology are available for meetings and conferences. The hotel has a 24-hour business centre and a 24-hour front desk for express check-in/check-out. High-speed WiFi is provided throughout the property.

Kids' meals and a dedicated menu are offered in the restaurant, and family rooms can accommodate up to four guests. Local attractions within easy reach include Windsor Castle, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. The hotel also provides packed lunches for early departures.
