Historic Setting
Ye Spotted Dogge occupies a building constructed around 1450, with hand-carved beams sourced from 15th-century ships. Original stencils from the 1500s have been preserved on wall panels in the bar and breakfast room. The hotel displays the actual weapon used to assassinate the Duke of Buckingham in 1628, an event that took place on the premises.
