Zedwell Underground Hotel Tottenham Court Rd in London, England

Zedwell Underground Hotel Tottenham Court Rd is the first fully underground hotel in London, located several floors below street level. The windowless room design is specifically engineered to eliminate natural light and city noise, creating conditions for uninterrupted sleep. Free hot and cold refreshments are available in the lobby, and earplugs are provided in every room to further block out ambient sound.

The air-conditioned Cocoon rooms come with a private bathroom and low ambient light settings that guests can control for optimal comfort. A user-friendly app integrates check-in and service access, while the rooms have no TV or desk to minimize distractions. Daily housekeeping and 24-hour reception are standard, and soundproofed rooms with allergy-free options are available.

The hotel sits 300 metres from Tottenham Court Road station and is 90 metres from the Dominion Theatre. The British Museum is a 400-metre walk, and Oxford Street is one of several nearby shopping and cultural destinations. Leicester Square Underground Station is 800 metres away, and the property lies 1.2 km from the city centre.

Business travelers benefit from a 24-hour front desk, express check-in/check-out, and luggage storage. The hotel's communal relaxation and socialising spaces offer a calm environment for reading or working. Free WiFi is provided throughout, and the property has CCTV and key card access for security.

The hotel includes wheelchair-accessible rooms with emergency cords in the bathroom, lower sinks, raised toilets, and grab rails. Facilities for disabled guests, a lift to all floors, and non-smoking rooms are standard. Guest feedback is actively responded to by management, and self-check-in kiosks streamline the arrival process.
