Grounds & Amenities
The hotel occupies 22 acres of gardens and grounds that slope down to the shores of Ullswater. Guests have direct access to the lake and can use the private fishing license on the river. A private helipad is available on site, and croquet is set up on the lawn.
Dining
The Regency Restaurant holds an AA Rosette for culinary excellence and serves modern British cuisine using local ingredients. Meals are also available in the conservatory and on the terrace for a more relaxed setting. The restaurant offers special diet menus and a wine/champagne list, with a fabulous breakfast included.
Rooms
The hotel has 40 traditionally decorated bedrooms, each with a flat-screen TV and seating area. Some rooms offer balconies with panoramic views of Ullswater Lake and the Cumbrian Fells. All rooms are en-suite and come with safety deposit boxes and tea/coffee facilities.
