Lakeside country house hotel set in 5 acres of woodland gardens on Derwentwater

Location & Setting

Set within 5 acres of woodland gardens on the shores of Derwentwater. The hotel is 3 miles from Keswick in the Borrowdale Valley. Room views look across the lake and towards Catbells.

Dining & Bar

The oak-panelled bar has a real open fire and a regional wine list. The restaurant has large picture windows overlooking the lake and offers an à la carte menu. Breakfast includes a full Cumbrian breakfast and kids' meals are available.

Pet-Friendly & Wildlife

The hotel is pet-friendly with dogs staying free when booked directly. Breakfast includes a complimentary dog sausage. Well-stocked bird feeders around the hotel attract blue tits, woodpeckers, and chaffinches while roe deer are seen in the grounds.
